		<description>You're right that all family members need to get used to your new dog/puppy first - particularly if you have younger children, they need to understand that a puppy will bite/chew things etc and that they shouldn't chase after it or scare it etc.</description>

		<description>I never even thought to check for a Dog Club or something like that in my area when I was looking for a breeder - Good idea.  You're right though, there are so many steps in finding the perfect dog.  Then, once you finally pick one, the training begins! I think one of the most important things is getting the dog as well as your family members all used to each other in the beginning, which is one tip we talked about in our blog today. Either way, it doesn't matter how much work goes into it, the dog is totally worth it in the end.
